Our tradesmen are skilled, qualified craftsmen and engineers, experienced in all types of refurbishments to homes and commercial properties.  They are thoroughly vetted (including CRB check) and continuously monitored to ensure they meet our high standards of customer care.   They wear smart corporate uniforms, carry ID cards and drive clean fully stocked vans.  We are often complemented on the courtesy, politeness and helpfulness of our tradesmen.

We operate a half hourly charging system and there is no call out fee.

We provide an extensive range of in-house trades covering the following:

  • Day to day reactive maintenance – 24/7 repair and maintenance service covering all the trades outlined in our range of services
  • Preventative maintenance – planned and cyclical works
  • Void management – speedy turnaround of empty properties to present a desirable home to enable a quick letting.  Our Void service covers safety (fire risk, gas / electrical checks, hazardous material, structural defects), security (doors, windows, locks), repairs, services (all utilities) and cleanliness and condition (cleaning of floors, kitchens and bathrooms, general decoration)
  • Aid and Adaption Works (Disability) – includes installation of level access showers, wet rooms, access ramps, room conversions, extensions
  • A full scaffolding service to provide safe access to our operatives to working at height, whilst enabling safe access solutions for our clients, both internally or externally

Our partnership approach aim is to work with our clients to solve problems quickly and efficiently with the minimum of disruption.  This is assisted by our highly trained call handlers and tradesmen having access to the latest technology.  A well established automated job management system enables our office team to track all aspects of the work from initial call to completion. Our mobile work force has been provided with hand held computers (PDAs) enabling electronic communication of data, drawings and photographs to and from our job management system.  This enables us to continuously monitor and control the delivery of our work, quickly resolve any problems arising and ensure we deliver what we promise to our customers.

By using directly employed, highly skilled and in many cases multi trade operatives, ABC Building & Maintenance ensures high levels of quality and customer service while increasing the number of problems solved in a single visit.  It is important that once a problem has been solved it does not re-occur.  Our quality management system and inspection regime is designed to minimise the likelihood of problems happening again and continuosly improve the quality of our work.
